King Salman Cup for Arab Club 2023 .. Al-Shabab and Al-Nassr from Saudi Arabia complete the qualified teams for the quarter-finals

The qualified teams for the quarter-finals of King Salman Cup for Arab Clubs 2023 has been completed, as the Saudi teams Al-Shabab and Al-Nassr from Saudi Arabia have reached the next stage of the competition.

In the third group, Al-Shabab defeated US Monastir from Tunisia, 1-0, while the Egyptian team Zamalek drew with the Saudi team Al-Nassr 1-1.

Al-Shabab’s goal against US Monastir was scored by Ever Banega, while Zamalek’s goal came through Ahmed Mustafa, before Al-Nassr equalized with a header from Cristiano Ronaldo.

With these results, Al-Shabab tops the group standings with 7 points, followed by Al-Nassr with 5 points, and they qualified together to the quarter-finals.

In the fourth group, a 1-1 draw was the result of the Algerian team CR Belouizdad match with the Kuwaiti team Kuwait, while Moroccan team Raja defeated the Emirati team Al-Wahda 1-0.

The goal of Raja was scored by Zakaria Al-Wardi, while the goal of CR Belouizdad was scored by Islam Belkhair, and Kuwait drew through Taha Yassin.

With these results, Raja ranks at the top of the group standings with 9 points, followed by Al-Wahda with 6 points, so that the two teams qualify together for the next stage.

Quarter-final teams

The Saudi team Al-Ittihad and the Iraqi team Al-Shorta qualified from the first group, from the second group Al-Sadd from Qatar and Al-Hilal from Saudi Arabia, from the third group Al-Shabab and Al-Nassr from Saudi Arabia, and from the fourth group each of Moroccan team Raja and Al-Wahda from UAE.
