The U-17 Arab Cup 2022 Libya beat Oman, Algeria beat Sudan, Yemen draw with Tunisia, Palestine draw with UAE
Today, Friday, the second round of the group stage of the fourth edition of the U-17 Arab Cup for 2022, organized by the Union of Arab Football Associations and hosted by the Algerian Football Federation in Oran, Algeria, from August 23 to September 8.
In Group B at Mostaganem Stadium, Libya won 2-1 against Oman, as the two goals were scored by Abdelmoumen Al-Mabrouk and Marwan Al-Zaqzouqi, while Oman national team’s goal came by Al-Harith Al-Mashiakhi.
In the same group at Al-Siq Stadium, a 1-1 draw settled the match between Yemen and Tunisia.
The goal of the Yemeni national team was scored by Mohamed Jaber, while the goal of the Tunisian national team came by Abdel Rahman Al-Erqi.
With these results, Yemen national team are at the top of Group B with 4 points, equally with Libya, while Tunisia come third with two points, then Oman national team without points.
In the first group, the Algerian national team won 2-0 against Sudan national team, as goals were scored by Younes Badani and Ziad Mohamed, at Al-Siq Stadium.
In the same group at Mostaganem Stadium, a goalless draw settled the match between Palestine and UAE.
With these results, Algeria’s score rises to 6 points at the top of Group A standings, followed by Sudan with 3 points, and then UAE and Palestine teams with a point each.

Tomorrow, Saturday, the second round of the group stage will continue with 4 matches in the third and fourth groups.
In Group D, Saudi Arabia will face Syria at Mostaganem Stadium, while Lebanon will face Egypt at Al-Siq Stadium, at 5 PM.
Egypt are at the top of Group D standings with 3 points, followed by Syria and Lebanon with a point each, and then the Saudi national team without balance so far.
In the first round, Egypt national team beat Saudi Arabia 3-0, while a goalless draw was the result of the match between Syria and Lebanon.
In Group C, Iraq will face Comoros at Mostaganem Stadium, while Mauritania and Morocco will play at Al-Siq Stadium, at 8 PM.
Comoros national team lead the group standings with 3 points, equally with Iraq, followed by Mauritania and Morocco without points.
The first round witnessed the victory of Iraq against Morocco 2-1, while Comoros defeated Mauritania 3-2.
The group stage matches are scheduled to be concluded on August 29 and 30, while the quarter-final matches will take place on September 1 and 2.
