Arab Beach Soccer Cup| Oman, Egypt, UAE and Comoros win at the end of the first round
Today, Saturday, the first round of the group stage of the Arab Beach Soccer Cup 2023, which is being organized by the Union of Arab Football Associations and hosted by the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, was completed, as it is played on the banks of the Red Sea in Jeddah, from 11 to 20 May.
In the second group, Oman won 7-1 against Palestine, while Egypt won 6-2 over Kyrgyzstan.
The goals of Oman national team were scored by Sami Al-Balooshi (2 goals), Khaled Al-Araimi (3 goals), Ahmed Al-Owaisi and Al-Yaqzan Al-Hendasi, while the Palestinian national team’s goal came through the player Muhammad Hassan.
In the second match, the goals of the Egyptian national team were scored by Abdel-Rahman Al-Shafei “two goals”, Mustafa Ali “two goals”, Hussam Hussein and Al-Husseini Ali, while the goals of the Kyrgyz national team came through Al-Mazbek Samat and Khaled Bek.
In Group C, the UAE national team defeated Libya 5-2, while Comoros national team defeated Kuwait 4-2 on penalties, after a 1-1 draw.
The goals of UAE national team were scored by Rashid Yaqoub, Ahmed Bishr, Walid Bishr, Haitham Al Kaabi and Ali Mohammadi, while the Libyan national team’s double came through Ahmed Mohamed and Islam Al Obeidi.
In the second match, Comoros national team defeated Kuwait national team, 4-2, on penalties, after a 1-1 draw.
Tomorrow, Sunday, two matches will be held in the first group, as the Mauritanian national team will face Morocco, and the Lebanese national team with Saudi national team.
