King Salman Cup for Arab Clubs.. Kuwait from Kuwait overcomes JS Saoura from Algeria
The Kuwaiti club Kuwait surpassed the Algerian club JS Saoura, after it drew with it 1-1 in the second-leg match, today, in Oran, in the first round of King Salman Cup for Arab Clubs 2023, which is organized by the Union of Arab Football Associations.
In the next match, Kuwait will face the winner from the Jordanian team Shabab Al-Ordon and the Mauritanian team Nouadhibou, which will qualify the winner to the second round of the tournament, which will be held in the combined system in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia next summer.
The first-leg match ended with Kuwait’s victory at home, with a goal scored by player Mohamed Marhoon, to qualify by winning 2-1 on aggregate.
In the second-leg, Taha Yassin Al-Khunaisi opened the scoring for Kuwait, while JS Saoura equalized through Elias Dawson.
