In the first round of King Salman Cup for Arab Clubs 2023.. Kuwait from Kuwait, Nouadhibou from Mauritania, and AS FAR from Morocco win

Kuwait from Kuwait defeated Algeria’s JS Saoura 1-0, Mauritanian Nouadhibou beat Shabab Al-Ordon 4-1, while AS Far from Morocco defeated Al-Ittihad from Libya 4-1 as well, in the first leg of the first round of King Salman Cup for Arab clubs 2023.

In the first match, Kuwait from Kuwait defeated Algeria’s JS Saoura with a goal scored by player Mohamed Marhoon.

The match between the two teams will be renewed at Miloud Hadefi stadium
in Oran, on March 21, to decide who will qualify for the next stage.

In the second match, Mauritanian Nouadhibou defeated its Jordanian guest, Shabab Al-Ordon, 4-1, at Stade Cheikha Ould Boïdiya, before the 2nd-leg match between the two teams at Prince Mohammed Stadium in Amman, on April 12.

The goals of Nouadhibou were scored by Hamieh Al-Tanji and Othman Faye, with two goals each, while the goal of Shabab Al-Ordon was scored by Wassim Al-Abdullah.

In the third match, AS FAR from Morocco achieved a 4-1 victory over the Libyan team Al-Ittihad, before their 2nd-leg match on April 12 at Martyrs of beninah international Stadium in Benghazi.

The goals of AS FAR were scored by Mustafa Sahd, Adam Al-Nafati, Cando Joseph and Ahmed Hammoudan, while Al-Ittihad’s goal came through the player Moaz Issa.
