All the qualified national teams to the quarter-finals of the U-17 Arab Cup 2022 were determined

All the qualified national teams for the quarter-finals of the U-17 Arab Cup 2022, were determined, as it being held in Oran, Algeri, and will continue until next September 8, after the end of the group stage, today, Tuesday.

In Group C at Al-Siq Stadium, Morocco beat Comoros 1-0, as it was scored by Adam Shakir.

In the same group at Mostaganem Stadium, a 1-1 draw settled the match between Iraq and Mauritania, as Sidi Ba scored for Mauritania, while Iraq’s goal came by Hassan Jassem.

With these results, Iraq national team lead the third group with 7 points, followed by the Moroccan national team with 6 points, then the Comoros national team with 3 points, and then the Mauritanian national team come fourth with one point.

In Group D at Al-Siq Stadium, Egypt defeated Syria 5-0, as Ayman Abdelaziz and Ahmed Fouad scored two goals each, while a goal was scored by Syria goalkeeper Majd Al-Jabbara by mistake.

In the same group at Mostaganem Stadium, the Saudi national team defeated Lebanon 6-0, as goals were scored by Talal Hajji (3 goals), Farha Al-Shamrani, Ammar Al-Yahbi and Nawaf Al-Janahi.

With these results, the Egyptian national team lead the standings of Group C with 9 points, followed by the Saudi national team with 6 points, and then the teams of Syria and Lebanon with one point each.

The teams qualified for the final round will have a negative rest tomorrow, Wednesday, while the next stage will take place on Thursday and Friday at Mostaganem Stadium.

Next Thursday, Algeria will face Tunisia at 4:30 pm, while Yemen will face Sudan at 8:00 pm local time.

On Friday, Iraq will face Saudi Arabia at 4:30 pm, while Egypt will face Morocco at 8:00 pm local time.
