The Under 17 Arab Cup 2022 is getting ready for launch
The Arab teams start to arrive in Oran, as a press conference will be held for coaches on Monday.
The teams participating in the fourth edition of the U-17 Arab Cup 2022 began to arrive in Oran, as the Comoros national team arrived yesterday, and today the teams of Saudi Arabia, Morocco and Sudan arrived.
The teams of Libya, Tunisia, Mauritania and Palestine are scheduled to arrive on Saturday, while the teams of Yemen, Lebanon, Syria, Oman and UAE will arrive on Sunday, and then the teams of Egypt and Iraq.
Next Monday, the general press conference for the national team coaches will be held to talk about the readiness of each team for the tournament, which begins next Tuesday with four matches, as Algeria will face Palestine national team, UAE against Sudan, Tunisia with Libya, and Oman against Yemen.
The U-17 Arab Cup 2022 is one of The Union of Arab Football Associations tournaments, which will be hosted by the Algerian Football Federation from August 23 to September 8, with the participation of the teams of UAE, Tunisia, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, Iraq, Oman, Palestine, Comoros, Lebanon, Libya, Egypt, Morocco, Mauritania and Yemen.
The first edition was held in 2011 and hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as the Saudi national team was crowned with its title, while the Syrian national team was the runner-up, then the second edition was held in 2012 in Tunisia, and the Tunisian national team won the title over Iraq, which won the title of the third edition that was held in Qatar in 2014 against the Saudi national team.
