Chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, President of the Union of Arab Football Associations (UAFA), the Union of Arab Football Associations Council held its 78th regular meeting.

At the beginning of the meeting, His Highness welcomed the members of the Council, expressing his thanks and appreciation to all.

Following this, the Secretary-General of the UAFA, Dr. Rajaallah Al-Salami, reviewed the General Secretariat’s technical, administrative, and financial reports for the previous Council term, in addition to presenting the proposed competitions calendar of the UAFA, for the period 2025-2029, which includes 26 tournaments.

His Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal expressed his keenness to complete this calendar and adhere to it, praising the efforts and work of the General Secretariat of the Association. He looked forward to more diverse programs during the coming period to develop and prosper Arab football.

The UAFA Council approved the convening of the General Assembly meeting in late August, with the UAFA’s General Secretariat to determine the time and place of the meeting.

The UAFA’s competitions calendar was also approved, as the General Secretariat will communicate and coordinate with the member Arab federations to present the 2025/2026 season competitions and the tournaments calendar until 2029, to open the door for hosting by Arab federations.
