Al-Nassr from Saudi Arabia beats the Tunisian team US Monastir by four goals .. The Emirati team Al-Wahda and the Moroccan team Raja qualify for the quarter-finals of King Salman Cup for Arab Clubs 2023
The Emirati team Al-Wahda and Moroccan team Raja qualified for the quarter-finals of King Salman Cup for Arab Clubs 2023, after defeating the Algerian team CR Belouizdad and the Kuwaiti team Kuwait, respectively, in the second round of the group stage yesterday, Monday.
In the first match, Al-Wahda defeated CR Belouizdad 2-1, as Facundo Daniel and Christian Guanca scored the double, while the goal of CR Belouizdad was scored by Ayman Bougherra.
In the second match, Raja defeated Kuwait with two goals scored by Al-Hussein Rahimi and Muhammad Zuraida, at the end of the second round of Group D.
Al-Wahda and Al-Raja joined the Saudi team Al-Ittihad, which was the first team to qualify for the quarter-finals, after defeating Tunisian team Sfaxien 1-0 on Sunday evening.
In the second group, the Saudi team Al-Shabab defeated the Egyptian team Zamalek 1-0, while the Saudi team Al-Nassr achieved a 4-1 victory over the Tunisian team US Monastir.
Al-Shabab’s goal against Zamalek was scored by Ever Banega from a penalty kick, in the first half of the match.
In the second match, Anderson Talisca, Cristiano Ronaldo, Abd al-Ilah al-Omari, and Abd al-Aziz al-Aliwa scored for Al-Nassr, while US Monstair’s goal was an own goal through Ali Lagami.
