Today, Friday, the matches of the first round of the group stage of King Salman Cup for Arab Clubs 2023, which is being held in Taif and Abha, were completed with 4 matches, as Moroccan team Raja defeated the Algerian team CR Belouizdad 2-1, and the Egyptian team Zamalek defeated the Tunisian team US Monastir 4-0, and the Emirati team Al-Wahda defeated Kuwait from Kuwaiti 2-1, while the Saudi teams Al-Nassr and Al-Shabab drew without goals.

In the first match, the goal of CR Belouizdad was scored by Moaz Haddad, while Raja’s double came through Yousry Bouzek and Bouchaib Arassi.

In the second match, the goals of Zamalek were scored by Saif Al-Din Al-Jaziri, Ahmed Mustafa and Sayed Abdullah (two goals).

In the third match, Al-Wahda scored a brace through Suhail Al-Mansoori and Joao Pedro, while Kuwait team’s goal came through Ahmed Al-Dhafiri.

In the fourth match, a goalless draw decided the match between Al-Nassr and Al-Shabab, at the end of the first round of the group stage.

It is scheduled that the second round of the group stage will take place next Sunday and Monday, as the Moroccan team Wydad will face Al-Ahli Tripoli from Libya, the Iraqi team Al-Shorta will face the Tunisian team Esperance, Saudi team Al-Hilal with Al-Sadd from Qatar, and Saudi team Al-Ittihad against the Tunisian team Sfaxien, and the Emirati team Al-Wahda with the Algerian team CR Belouizdad, and the Saudi team Al-Shabab with the Egyptian team Zamalek, and the Moroccan team Raja with the Kuwaiti team Kuwait, and the Tunisian team US Monastir with the Saudi team Al-Nassr.
