The Saudi national team wins the gold medal of the football competition in the Pan Arab Games 2023

The football competitions in the Pan Arab Games 2023 in Algeria were concluded, as the Saudi national team was crowned with the gold medal after defeating Syria national team, which finished second and won the silver medal, in the final match that was held this evening, Friday, at 19 May 1956 Stadium in Annaba.

The original time of the match ended with a 1-1 draw, as the Saudi national team scored first through Suhaib Ayman Al-Zaid, then the Syrian national team scored a goal by Mardik Mardikian, before the Saudi national team won the match on penalties 5-4.

In the third and fourth place match, Sudan won the bronze medal, after defeating Algeria 4-2 on penalties.

The goals of the Sudanese national team were scored by Esmat Muhammad Al-Hassan and Noah Al-Jazouli, while the goals of the Algerian national team were scored by Monzer Tamin and Massinsa nite.
