Arta Solar from Djibouti and Fahman from Yemen win in the preliminary round of King Salman Cup for Arab Clubs

Today, Thursday, the preliminary round of King Salman Cup for Aralb Clubs 2023 kicked off, with two matches, the first between Arta Solar of Djibouti and Volcan from Comoros, and the second between Fahman of Yemen and Horseed of Somalia, on the main reserve stadium of King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah.

In the first match, Arta Solar achieved a two-goal victory over Volcan, scored by players Salmon Kalou and Samuel Akinwa, to qualify for the final match of the preliminary round.

In the second match, Fahman qualified to face Arta Solar, after defeating Horseed by three goals, scored by Suleiman Ahmed (two goals) and Muhammad Mahdi.

With that result, Arta Solar will face Fahman next Sunday evening, and the winner of them will qualify for the first round of the tournament, while the draw will be held on Monday in Riyadh, during a ceremony held by the Union of Arab Football Associations in the presence of representatives of the participating Arab federations and clubs.
