Algeria national team was crowned as the champion of the U-17 Arab Cup 2022 as Saudi Talal Hajji was the top scorer
In the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Youth and Sports of Algeria, Mr. Abderrazak Sebakk, the President of the Algerian Football Federation, Mr. jahid zefizef, the Secretary General of the Union of Arab Football Associations, Dr. Raja Allah Al-Salami, and the president of the Organizing Committee of the U-17 Arab Cup 2022, Mr. Abdelhakim Chelmani, the Algerian national team was crowned with the title of the fourth edition, after defeating Morocco 4-2 on penalties, in the final match on Thursday.
Morocco national team’s goal came through Mohamed Archidi, while Algeria drew by Ismail Al-Tayeb, at Al-Siq Stadium.
The two teams went to penalty kicks, which awarded the victory and the title to Algeria after winning 4-2.
The award for the best player in the tournament was won by Muslim Anatof from Algeria national team, while Talal Hajji from the Saudi national team won the award of the top scorer, and Taha Benghzel from Morocco national team won the award for the best goalkeeper.
